Business trials separate. Your attitude will make all the difference – and that cannot be faked. Make-believe positive attitudes produce confusion for employees and customers. Authentic people prevail.

People of faith must begin to exercise that faith – even in the workplace. Whether you consider yourself a person of faith or you consider yourself completely secular, your worldview drives your behavior – especially in the hard times.

If you are a Believer, how you endure (respond to, react to) business setbacks, failures, and persistent problems will be a test of your worldview. Your positive, solution-seeking attitude will answer the question, “Is the Christian stuff for real?”

Focus on your customers: not yourself. In this economy, it is especially important that you walk in their shoes. Look to meet their needs in ways that will make you memorable.

Proverbs 13:15 (NIV) Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard (the unfaithful does not endure).
